Er. Rakesh Gwachha, Head of Department and Er. Rupesh Gautam, Deputy Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, attended the closing seminar of the project GRID2040 titled "Towards a Future-ready Grid," organized on 10th July 2024 ( 26th Asar 2081) at Kathmandu which was funded by the Energize Nepal program and the project was completed under the collaboration between School of Engineering, Kathmandu University, Department of Electrical Engineering at Institute of Engineering (Pulchowk Campus), and Rastriya Prasharan Grid Company Limited (RPGCL). The researchers from the GRID2040 project presented their study findings during the concluding seminar. Furthermore, Mr. Brijesh Adhikary, Associate Dean of the School of Engineering, KU, presented a grid visualization tool developed for the project to Dr. Netra Gyawali, CEO of RPGCL. Aside from gathering vital feedback from a wide range of industry, NEA, academic, and other participants, the closing seminar proved to be a great success and opened up new avenues for future partnerships. The insightful information and resources obtained from the seminar are pretty helpful in comprehending the scope of objectives and applications related to grid reinforcement.
