The Research and Development Unit successfully organized a seven-day workshop on Effective Academic and Research Writing from 11th to 17th Bhadra, 2082, at Hall 3. The 14-hour program was designed to strengthen the academic writing and research skills of faculty members, focusing on research methodology, literature review, citation and referencing, plagiarism prevention, and practical writing exercises.
A total of 33 faculty members from different departments took part in the training. The sessions were moderated by Er. Aanand Kumar Mishra, Head of the Civil Engineering Department, while resource persons included Er. Sunil Duwal, Dr. Raju Bhai Tyata, Dr. Chandra Kiran Kawan, Dr. Subeg Man Bijukchhen, Dr. Manjip Shakya, and Dr. Phanindra Prasad Bhandari.
Program Highlights
The workshop emphasized interactive learning through lectures, discussions, and hands-on practice. On the final day, five participants presented their writing output before the attendees. Certificates were awarded to all 33 participants in recognition of their successful completion.
According to post-workshop feedback, 27 respondents shared their evaluations, with most rating the workshop as “excellent” or “good,” underscoring its effectiveness and positive impact on academic and research capacity building.
