R & D Unit
When it comes to innovation, discovery, development, filling the gaps, planning, and enhancements researches and developments are critical. To improve the scientific research basis of the college and come up with some high-quality scientific outcomes to serve humanity, Khwopa College of Engineering has established the Research and Department Unit (R&D). The objective of the research and development unit is to enhance the capacity of the faculties and students and delineate them towards to path of research and development by building a research environment, internationalization of human potential, support to strengthen the knowledge foundation, and promote the creation of new application as well as the societal impact of education, research, and innovation. Thus the research development unit will prepare and implement the knowledge and capabilities to nurture the research and development environment.
The main objective of the R & D unit is to provide technical support, expertise, and advice for faculty members and students for carrying research, innovation, and new practical knowledge.
The specific objectives of the R & D unit are:
- To mobilize the highly qualified multi-disciplinary faculties, staff for outreach activities such as short term courses, training, or workshops to create an environment conducive to further development.
- To assist the faculties in developing a research-oriented academic environment in college.
- To promote application-based research.
- To establish and promote links with government, non- government, private organizations, and international agencies
- To contribute to the efficient running of the research program by adequate planning, monitoring, and evaluation of the research activities
