The Department of Science and Humanities at Khwopa College of Engineering (KhCE) has successfully completed a ten-day intensive training program on MATLAB, held from 13th Shrawan to 19th Bhadra, 2082. The 20-hour training was designed to enhance the programming, simulation, and data analysis skills of faculty members and researchers.
The sessions were conducted by Er. Rojan Tamang, who guided participants through hands-on learning in fundamental aspects of MATLAB. Key topics included basic syntax, matrix operations, data visualization, mathematical tools, and an introduction to Simulink for model-based design. Emphasis was placed on practical applications directly linked to academic projects, research activities, and future engineering tasks.
Participants engaged in real-world problem-solving exercises, strengthening their computational skills and their ability to effectively integrate MATLAB into teaching and research. Feedback highlighted Er. Tamang’s interactive and practical approach, with many attendees noting the immediate usefulness of the training in their academic work.
