Er. Rakesh Gwachha, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering at Pulchowk Engineering Campus, attended the "Symposium on Renewable Revolution in Nepal: Today and Tomorrow" on June 7, 2024. The event, held at Pulchowk Engineering Campus and funded by the University Grant Commission, focused on Nepal's transition to renewable energy sources and emphasized industry-academia collaboration. The symposium featured experts from academia, industry, and government, including Dr. Rana Bahadur Thapa from the Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC) and Prabal Adhikari from the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA). It provided a platform for learning about the latest advancements in renewable energy studies and facilitated open discussions among knowledgeable panelists. The program also encouraged interactions among participants from various colleges affiliated with the Institute of Engineering (IOE), fostering a shared interest in renewable energy.
