On 17th May 2024, the Research and Development Unit of Khwopa College of Engineering organized a presentation on " Mathematics in Electrical Engineering Study "which was presented by Er Rupesh Gautam, DHoD, Electrical Department. To establish a specific platform for laying a solid basis for Electrical Engineering studies starting at the fundamental level, a thought-provoking presentation was given and discussed among faculty members from the Civil, Electrical, and Computer and Electronics departments. Differential equations, Laplace transformation, and Fourier series were the three main topics of the talk, which expounded on the significance of these foundational concepts in engineering mathematics.
The talk covered the methodologies and applications of differential equations suggested in electrical engineering courses, starting with the basic principles of differential equations. The instructive lecture shed light on the Fourier and Laplace series fundamentals, which are essential for electrical engineering. Prof. Dr. Chandra Kiran Kawan, head of the R&D Unit, and Prof. Dr. Raju Bhai Tyata, head of the Science and Humanities, also emphasized the focal point of the presentation that influenced engineering studies.
