Bagmati Province Health Minister Rameshwor Shrestha paid a visit to Khwopa Engineering College and Khwopa College of Engineering on 21^st of Falgun, 2079. Er. Sujan Maka, principal of Khwopa Engineering College, and Er. Sunil Duwal, principal of Khwopa College of Engineering, welcomed the province's health minister and his team.

During a visit, Minister Shrestha highlighted the invaluable contribution of the Bhaktapur municipality towards the country's education, health, conservation, and sanitation. He also mentioned that other local and provincial governments could learn from Bhaktapur's success. Furthermore, he expressed his commitment to providing the necessary support for the operation of the Khwopa hospital run by the Bhaktapur municipality, and also expressed his confidence in the Khwopa University, which has been approved to operate.

Minister Shrestha also praised the exemplary leadership of Bhaktapur, stating that their successful practices can be emulated by other local governments. He encouraged collaboration and the exchange of experiences among them. In the same order, the Mayor of Bhaktapur Municipality, Sunil Prajapati, expressed his gratitude for visiting the colleges and health institutions operated by the municipality and drew Minister Shrestha's attention to providing necessary support for the colleges and hospitals operated by Bhaktapur Municipality.

He also mentioned that we are trying to develop Bhaktapur municipality as a test tube for every subject so that the model can be replicated in other areas of the country; he said that the entire municipality and the educational institutions under the municipality are working to make Bhaktapur a center of excellence.

During the inspection, Er. Sujan Maka, Principal of Khwopa Engineering College, and Er. Sunil Duwal, Principal of Khwopa College of Engineering, provided brief information about the subject-specific features and service facilities provided by the colleges. They emphasized that the main goal of operating colleges is to provide quality education at an affordable fee, which is also the main goal of Bhaktapur Municipality.

Province Health Minister Rameshwor Shrestha also visited educational institutions and hospitals operated by Bhaktapur Municipality. Minister Shrestha visited Khwopa College, Khwopa Hospital and the Respiratory Rehabilitation Center and inspected them on-site. During the visit, Bagmati Province MPs Surendra Raj Gosain, Srijana Saiju, Kiran Thapa, Dhaneshwari Prajapati, Shakuntala Shrestha, and Chief Administrative Officer of Bhaktapur Municipality Krishna Giri were present. Minister Shrestha and provincial MPs were provided with some publications of Bhaktapur Municipality and colleges and a decorative peacock window as a gift from Bhaktapur.
