Former minister and Member of Parliament Mr. Hemraj Rai along with a team visited Khwopa College of Engineering and Khwopa Engineering College. The purpose of this visit was to study the development model of Bhaktapur and gain insights into the various initiatives undertaken in the region, including those related to Khwopa Hospital, waste management, and good governance.

The team was warmly welcomed by Er. Sujan Maka, Er. Sunil Duwal, and Er. Ratna Shova Prajapati. During the interaction, Member Rai expressed his keen interest in witnessing firsthand the development model that Bhaktapur has adopted. He commended the municipality's focus on addressing fundamental issues like education and healthcare, highlighting the admirable role played by engineering colleges in producing skilled human resources for the country.

The principals of Khwopa Engineering College, Er. Sujan Maka, and Khwopa College of Engineering, Er. Sunil Duwal provided comprehensive information about the institution's history, mission, facilities, organizational structure, student enrollment, faculty, staff, academic offerings, and fee structures. This exchange of information fostered a deeper understanding of the role and contributions of these engineering colleges run by Bhaktapur Municipality.

The visit was attended by Hari Bahadur Rai, Furba Nenging Sherpa, Ishwar Acharya, Chandra Vikram Rai, Pasang Sherpa, Sagun Rai, and various municipality and college officials.
