Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol of Kathmandu Metropolitan City recently paid a special visit to Bhaktapur Municipality on the 30th of Shrawan, 2080. The purpose of her visit was to share and exchange ideas about effective governance practices between local governments. During her visit, she had the opportunity to explore the inspiring initiatives led by Bhaktapur Municipality.

Warmly welcomed by Deputy Mayor Ar. Rajani Joshi of Bhaktapur Municipality, Deputy Mayor Dangol was greeted by the Principals of Khwopa College of Engineering and Khwopa Engineering College, Er. Sujan Maka, Er. Sunil Duwal, and Er. Ratna Shova Prajapati.

Following the insightful observation tour, Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the commendable endeavors undertaken by Bhaktapur Municipality, particularly in the domains of education, healthcare, and heritage restoration. She also lauded the colleges for providing high-quality education at affordable costs.

Deputy Mayor Rajani Joshi reaffirmed Bhaktapur Municipality's dedication to establishing and running Khwopa University, including a forthcoming Medical College. Principals Er. Sujan Maka and Er. Sunil Duwal shared the engineering colleges' impressive achievements and academic excellence achieved under Bhaktapur Municipality's guidance. In a friendly gesture, Deputy Mayor Rajani Joshi presented Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol with college publications, symbolizing the valuable exchange of ideas and experiences during the visit.
