On the 29th of Asar, 2080, the Khwopa College of Engineering's Department of Civil Engineering organized a special event called "Recognizing Excellence: Token of Appreciation Distribution and Experience Sharing Program." The purpose of this event was to acknowledge and celebrate the outstanding achievements of students in various civil engineering competitions.
During this event, tokens of appreciation were awarded to exceptional students who emerged as winners in several competitions. These included the AADHAR 2079 BE intercollege model competition, the Paper Bridge competition organized by CESS Nepal IOE Pulchowk campus, and the Geotechnical Model Competition 2023 on 1st Geomandu organized by the Nepal Geotechnical Society. These tokens served as tangible recognition of their remarkable accomplishments and unwavering dedication.
The students had the privilege of receiving an inspiring message from Er. Sunil Duwal, the Principal of the college. He shared valuable insights about the institution's enduring commitment to fostering student participation in such programs. He also highlighted the remarkable journies of inspiring alumni who actively engaged in such competitions and activities, conducted groundbreaking research, and eventually worked as prominent researchers in those fields.
Er. Ratna Shova Prajapati, the Vice Principal of the college, delivered a motivating speech during the event. She urged the students to actively participate in similar enriching programs and encouraged them to embrace the opportunities for growth and excellence.
The event began with an introductory speech by Er. Ramesh Bala, the head of the Civil Engineering Department, set the stage for the inspiring stories that followed.
The program also featured the experience shared by students who received awards, namely Miss Riya Kadel, Mr. Pranjal Pun Purja, and Miss Shresha Dahal. They graciously shared their remarkable experiences, recounting the intricate process of model-making and the thrill of participating in the competitions. Their stories provided valuable insights and served as a wellspring of inspiration for their fellow students in attendance.
