The Departments of Computer and Electronics Engineering and Electrical Engineering at Khwopa College of Engineering, organized a pre-event session for the All-Nepal Female Hackathon on 30th May 2025 in partnership with Shequal Foundation. The session, facilitated by Ms. Riya Shrestha from Shequal Foundation, aimed to encourage women’s participation in technology and inform students about the hackathon and its objectives.

A total of 37 female students from Computer, Electronics, and Electrical departments attended. The session focused on women’s empowerment in tech and motivated students to participate in national competitions. The feedback indicated that all participants found the session useful, with the majority expressing interest in future events and the upcoming hackathon.

The event reinforced the college’s commitment to diversity and innovation and highlighted ongoing collaboration with Shequal Foundation to support women in technology.
