On Jestha 11, 2081, Khwopa College of Engineering’s IT Circle organized a Design Thinking Workshop led by IT Circle Coordinator Mr. Adarsha Shrestha. Sixty-four students from the IT, Computer, and Electronics departments participated, learning the Empathize-Define-Ideate-Prototype-Test framework through hands-on activities and teamwork. Highlights included digital solution presentations, such as a Digital Tokenization System developed by Riya Shahi, Aieshma Khadka, Sagun Pahadi, and Monika Kandel to reduce wait times for public services. Participants appreciated the practical approach and tools, including the Effort vs. Impact Matrix, and the event fostered a culture of design-driven, interdisciplinary innovation at Khwopa. The Student Counseling Committee, along with the Student Quality Circle, supported the workshop.
