The observation visit for the ongoing Survey Camp conducted at Bhotechaur, Melamchi of the 2080 Batch of Civil Engineering students from Khwopa College of Engineering (KhCE) was successfully concluded on 25th Bishakh, 2082.
The observation team was led by Principal Er. Sunil Duwal, accompanied by Vice Principal Er. Ratna Shova Prajapati, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, Er. Aanand Kumar Mishra, Head of Department of Computer and Electronics Department Er. Dinesh Gothe, Er. Ramesh Bala and Mr. Sanjaya Manandhar.
The team engaged with students during the visit and reviewed their fieldwork activities. Principal Duwal encouraged students to enhance their practical knowledge and maximize the field-based learning opportunity. He emphasized the importance of technical competency and field exposure for aspiring civil engineers. He recommended that the faculty members and instructors provide the students with advanced practical knowledge and skills to become acquainted with all the essential skills needed for future professional life.
The team observed that the students participated enthusiastically, actively engaging in field tasks such as leveling, contouring, topographic mapping, road and bridge surveys, and other essential surveying exercises. The team expressed satisfaction with the camp's organization and conduct.
The visit concluded with a reaffirmed commitment to experiential learning and skill development at KhCE through such practical programs.
