On 21st Baisakh, 2082, the Research and Development Unit of the college organized a workshop titled "Preparation of Teaching/Lesson Plan" to address recent syllabus updates for the 2080 Batch introduced by the Institute of Engineering, evolving teaching practices, and recommendations from the Nepal Engineering Council and University Grants Commission. The workshop also aimed to familiarize new faculty members with current teaching-learning practices.
A total of 38 participants, including faculty members, teaching assistants, and research assistants, attended the event. Prof. Dr. Raju Bhai Tyata led the workshop, which focused on collaboratively developing an updated lesson plan format through expert presentations and hands-on group activities.
Principal Er. Sunil Duwal inaugurated the workshop by highlighting the importance of structured teaching. The program featured sessions on the fundamentals of lesson planning, proposed updates based on the latest regulations, and group exercises to tailor lesson plans for various subjects. Participants then presented their group work, fostering interactive discussions.
After constructive feedback and review, the workshop concluded with a finalized lesson plan format. Vice Principal Er. Ratna Shove Prajapati provided instructions for immediately implementing the updated lesson plans across all departments. The event marked a significant step in aligning the college’s teaching practices with national standards and preparing faculty for the upcoming academic year.
