Faculty members from Khwopa College of Engineering actively participated in the IEEE Seminar on Building Academic Impact through Research & Publication, organized by the IEEE Nepal Section on 25 April 2025. The seminar aimed to strengthen research capabilities, promote academic excellence, and provide valuable insights into the evolving landscape of scholarly research and publication.

The event brought together educators, researchers, and professionals nationwide. It featured distinguished speakers, including Prof. Geetam S. Tomar, Director of Rajkiya Engineering College, India, and Chair of the IEEE MP Section, and Dr. Jyoti L. Mishra, Associate Professor at the University of Leeds, UK. They shared their expertise on critical topics such as research methodology, selecting appropriate publication platforms, addressing ethical issues in publishing, building academic profiles, and enhancing research visibility through international collaboration.

The seminar emphasized the essential role of research in advancing knowledge, fostering innovation, and bridging the gap between theory and practice. Faculty members gained practical strategies to enhance their research impact, mentor young researchers, and contribute to the academic development of their institutions and society.
