A prize distribution ceremony was organized by Khwopa College of Engineering to honor the winners of the table tennis and badminton competition, which took place on the 11th and 12th of Jestha, 2080. The sports event was organized to showcase the sporting talent of first-year students of this college.

During the program, Er. Sujan Maka, the principal of Khwopa Engineering College, emphasized the role of sports in fostering discipline and promoting teamwork among students. He highlighted that despite the existence of two colleges, Khwopa Engineering College and Khwopa College of Engineering, both institutions share the common goal of preparing qualified citizens to serve the nation, contribute to society, and foster intellectual growth while intellectualizing society.

Er. Sunil Duwal, the principal of Khwopa College of Engineering, expressed his belief that participation in sports instills qualities like hard work and concentration, which translate into success in other areas, including academics.

Emphasizing the importance of positive thinking, Vice Principal Er. Ratnashova Prajapati urged students to engage in sports activities along with their studies.

Prof. Dr. Raju Bhai Tyata, the head of the Science and Humanities Department, addressed the significance of extracurricular activities in personal development and encouraged students to allocate dedicated time for such activities every day. Mr. Sanjaya Manandhar, the head of the administration branch, also emphasized the value of sports in students' lives.
