Department of Science and Humanities at Khwopa College of Engineering organized a training on “AutoCAD Basics” and a workshop about “Design Thinking and Idea Pitching” from 16th to 19th Jesth 2080. These events were specifically tailored for the Civil Engineering, Computer, and Electrical programs, targeting first-year students.
Our alumni Aayush Prajapati, Anil Sayaju, Anish Dulal, and Manish Bista, facilitated the training. They provided comprehensive training about AutoCAD and its applications for civil engineering students. The participants expressed that this training was helpful in skill development as well as improvement in the visualizations of engineering drawing-related ideas.
Simultaneously, a workshop on design thinking and idea pitching was led by facilitators Neeraj Pradhan and Nimesh Shakya. The workshop aimed to enhance the students' understanding of design thinking principles and effective idea-pitching techniques.
The students expressed that this workshop was immensely beneficial. The science and humanities department committed that such programs will be continued in the coming years to impart valuable learning opportunities to our students.
