Er. Gaurab Tamrakar, Shanti Karki, and Shreeshuva Maharjan of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Khwopa College of Engineering, participated in training on energy system model development and scenario analysis held from May 24th to May 30th, 2023. The training was organized by the Center for Energy Studies, Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University, and supported by the University Grants Commission (UGC Nepal). The training was primarily focused on the modeling of the energy system and the different scenario analyses of the contemporary policy of Nepal. The different hands-on training was also performed in the LEAP software during the six days of training on Pulchowk. The training was scheduled to give exposure to the current consumption of different kinds of energy in Nepal and the subsequent growth that might take place soon based on reports given by different governmental and non-governmental bodies.
Prof. Dr. Tri Ratna Bajracharya gave a presentation on "Dynamics of Energy Security and its Implications: Review of Policies, Opportunities, and Challenges in Nepal". Also, Assoc.
