The Inter-College Girls Volleyball Competition 2081, organized jointly by Khwopa Engineering College (KhEC) and Khwopa College of Engineering (KhCE), was successfully concluded on Sunday, 23 Mangsir 2081. This two-day event was held to celebrate KhEC’s 23^rd anniversary and KhCE’s 16th anniversary.

The competition was inaugurated on Saturday, 22 Mangsir 2081, by Er. Sujan Maka, Principal of Khwopa Engineering College, handed the sports equipment to the referees. During his speech, Er. Maka highlighted the college's commitment to fostering students' holistic development through both academic and extra-curricular activities. He emphasized the values of discipline, perseverance, and camaraderie in sports, encouraging participants to play for personal growth and health, rather than solely for victory.

The event also featured inspiring speeches from Dr. Subegman Bijukchhe, Vice Principal of Khwopa Engineering College, and Shyam Krishna Basukala, Sports Trainer. Both emphasized the significance of sports in building character and fostering national pride.

The competition saw enthusiastic participation from five institutions run by Bhaktapur Municipality:

• Khwopa Engineering College
• Khwopa College of Engineering
• Khwopa Secondary School
• Khwopa Polytechnic Institute
• Khwopa College of Law

The final match on the second day witnessed a spirited game, with Khwopa College of Engineering claiming the championship. Khwopa Engineering College Secured second place whereas Khwopa Secondary School secured third place, showcasing remarkable sportsmanship and skill.

The prizes for the Inter-College Girls Volleyball Competition and the recently held Inter-College Cricket Competition will be distributed during the colleges' anniversary program on 2^nd Poush 2081.
