Bhaktapur Municipality has announced the grand Bhaktapur Festival 2081, scheduled to take place from 28th Mangsir to 2nd Poush 2081. In anticipation of the event, Khwopa Engineering College and Khwopa College of Engineering jointly organized an informative talk program on 11th of Mangsir, 2081 for their faculty and staff.
Speaking at the program, Er. Sunil Duwal, Principal of Khwopa College of Engineering, called upon all faculty and staff to actively participate in the festival. He announced that as part of the celebration, there will be a grand educational exhibition on the college premises. This exhibition will include: Model Competition, Software competition, Robotics, traditional cuisine Food stalls, different exhibitions and much more.
Er. Duwal also shared plans for special events on 30 Mangsir, including the celebration of; the 23rd Anniversary of Khwopa Engineering College, the 16th Anniversary of Khwopa College of Engineering and a farewell program for the graduating 2076 batch.
The festival will conclude with a closing ceremony on 2 Poush, bringing together all participants and attendees.
Mr. Gautam Prasad Lasiwa, Coordinator of the Bhaktapur Festival Secretariat, provided a comprehensive overview of the festival's highlights, emphasizing its cultural and social significance. Meanwhile, Mr. Sanjaya Manandhar, Head of the Administration Section, reiterated the importance of faculty and staff involvement, expressing enthusiasm for the festival's success.
This talk program served as a platform to galvanize support and ensure the active participation of Khwopa’s academic community in making the Bhaktapur Festival 2081 a resounding success.
