On 10th Ashwin 2081, Khwopa Engineering College (KhEC) and Khwopa College of Engineering (KhCE) jointly organized a special talk program as part of their ongoing book review series. The focus of this session was the renowned poet Abhaya Shrestha’s book, 'Lahana Ra Tir' (लहना र तीर). Hosted by the Library Section, the program attracted an enthusiastic audience of students, faculty, and literature lovers.
The program featured a rich and engaging discussion on 'Lahana Ra Tir' (लहना र तीर) with insightful contributions from faculty member Er. Raju Miya, Mr. Siddhi Ram Suwal, student Mr. Jaydev Tripathi and Raksha Dahal. Each participant shared their unique interpretations of the book, delving into its themes, artistic expressions, and underlying messages, allowing for a deep exploration of its cultural and literary significance.
Following the discussions, poet Abhaya Shrestha delivered a captivating talk, sharing his creative journey and the inspiration behind 'Lahana Ra Tir' (लहना र तीर). He discussed how his personal experiences and reflections on life have shaped his poetic expressions, providing the audience with a deeper understanding of his work. His talk resonated with the audience, offering them a glimpse into the world of Nepali poetry through the eyes of one of its celebrated figures.
The event also included vibrant literary and musical performances by students, which added a unique cultural ambiance, celebrating both the art of poetry and the talents of the student community.
In his closing remarks, Er. Sunil Duwal, Principal of Khwopa College of Engineering, extended his heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in making the program a success. He shared his personal views on the book, praising its depth and relevance to contemporary Nepali literature. His words echoed the sentiments of many in attendance, who appreciated the opportunity to engage with such meaningful work.
