Research and Development (R&D) Unit, Khwopa College of Engineering organized a day workshop on "Effective Teaching and Learning Strategies" on 18th Bhadra 2081 (3rd September 2024) in collaboration with the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Department of Computer and Electronics Engineering which aimed to provide teaching faculties of both the departments with the methods and resources needed to create memorable and stimulating learning environments. Er. Sunil Duwal, Principal of Khwopa College of Engineering, made the program's opening remarks and highlighted the differences in the perspectives of students and teachers as well as the relationships between them. He strongly emphasized modernizing and adapting teaching strategies to the needs of differing student generations. Dr. Raju Bhai Tyata, Co-ordinator of the R&D Unit, gave a general review of the teaching-learning-focused methodologies through a presentation session, which covered a broader range of academic topics using a variety of research-based approaches and methods. The brainstorming session carried out with the groups produced the platform for greater discussion and exploration of the topic. The workshop concluded with the closing remarks from Ratna Shova Prajapati, Vice Principal, Khwopa College of Engineering, and all the participants were awarded certificates. The program emphasized the ongoing professional development aspect while promoting a reflective approach to teaching and learning. It also provided useful tools that could be used right away. The participants can further establish the groundwork established earlier in the workshop, resulting in enhanced pedagogical approaches and enhanced learning settings. Ultimately, the success and development of teachers and students will result from their dedication to implementing and considering these ideas.
