A delegation from Zhengzhou Electric Power College from the People’s Republic of China, led by Chen Ke, Director of the International Education Department, visited Khwopa College of Engineering (KhCE) on 31st July 2024 (16th Shrawan 2081) to discuss potential collaborations between the two institutions. The delegation, which included esteemed members Bian Lizheng, Wang Zhongkang, Huang Quili, and Cheng Na, focused on exploring avenues for future cooperation, particularly in the areas of faculty and student exchange programs.
The visitors were warmly received by Principal Sunil Duwal and Vice Principal Ratna Shova Prajapati. Principal Duwal shared insights into KhCE’s commitment to producing highly skilled engineers through rigorous academic programs, modern facilities, and practical training. He also emphasized the importance of international partnerships in enhancing the educational experience and expressed enthusiasm for collaborating with Zhengzhou Electric Power College.
Director Chen Ke highlighted ongoing projects at Zhengzhou Electric Power College, particularly in electrical engineering. She discussed initiatives in industrial development, specialized training, and advanced education designed to foster innovation and equip students with essential skills. She expressed optimism that a partnership with KhCE could lead to joint projects benefiting both institutions.
During the visit, Rakesh Gwachha, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department at KhCE, provided an overview of the electrical engineering program, including the college’s laboratories and course offerings. The discussions also considered the possibility of signing MoUs to facilitate collaborative research, academic exchanges, and cultural interactions.
This visit marks a significant step towards strengthening academic ties between Zhengzhou Electric Power College and Khwopa College of Engineering, paving the way for future collaboration and mutual success.
