Honest review here! After an unsuccessful attempt to land on scholarship to study medicine (MBBS) in Nepal, I set my sight to peruse engineering - Electrical Engineering as I'm always passionate about electricity & magnetism from my childhood. For me, it was a no brainer to choose KhCE among all the other engineering colleges in Nepal due to its proximity (and I'm also native to 'khwopa' -Bhaktapur in Nepal bhasa), affordability, discipline and, most importantly, quality education. If students from several hundred kilometers are competing to get a seat in this college, its quality speaks for itself, right?

Like many students in Nepal, I initially thought that only students from Bhaktapur, or near to it, study there. But on the very first day, I saw the reality. How could that orthodox be so untrue? You can see the faces from all parts of the country in every classroom! Personally speaking, 'Diversity' is one aspect that KhCE excels at, and if someone is studying at this college, s/he would feel how vibrant and inclusive it is. My campus life was very enjoyable, even for an introverted nerd like me. KhCE offers various clubs and hosts numerous competitions each year (such as robotics, exhibitions, and sports). The community and culture are distinct and something I deeply cherish. The friendships and connections I made during my time there have lasted well beyond graduation. KhCE's emphasis on fostering a supportive and collaborative environment made it a truly special place.

I would be disliked if I did not talk about academics and career preparation. The rigorous academic programs and the dedication of the faculty truly set KhCE apart. The professor and lecturer expect you to complete your home assignments, tutorials and lab reports within the deadline. But this hard work definitely gives you a return on your investment i.e. during the mid-term and final exams. Honestly, I'd not study much during exams, yet I'd be getting very good grades (In fact, I was topper of 072 BEL batch) and that's because of all the previous hard work I did before exam sessions. One thing I appreciated about the faculty was that they were not only experts in their fields but also genuinely invested in our success. Their mentorship extended beyond the classroom, providing invaluable guidance for student's career. Even after graduation, they offered internship opportunities and networking events that greatly helped freshly graduates secure their first jobs. My department offered me a position as a Teaching Assistant even before I graduated, during my final semester, which was also my first job! The alumni network has been a valuable asset, offering support and connections.

My experience at KhCE was positive, transformative, and I am grateful for the education, experiences, and relationships I gained. I highly recommend KhCE to prospective students who are seeking a comprehensive and enriching college experience.
