I joined Khwopa College of Engineering (KhCE) in 2016 as an undergraduate student in Electrical Engineering and graduated in 2021. My time at KhCE was a formative period that shaped my academic and professional path significantly. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Central Florida, and I can confidently say that my experiences at KhCE played a crucial role in my preparation for advanced studies. Here’s a brief overview of my experience at KhCE:

KhCE provided an excellent academic foundation with its well-structured Electrical Engineering program. The curriculum balanced theoretical knowledge with practical application through state-of-the-art laboratory work. This rigorous approach equipped me with the skills needed for my current research and studies.

The environment at KhCE was both supportive and stimulating. The campus was well-maintained, creating a conducive learning atmosphere. The supportive faculty and the sense of community among peers fostered both academic and personal growth.

About Sunil:

Sunil Simkhada, a permanent resident of Netrwawati Dabjong-1, Dhading, Nepal, earned his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Khwopa College of Engineering in 2021. He has gained experience as an Assistant Lecturer and as a Distribution Design Engineer. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Power and Control Systems within Electrical Engineering at the University of Central Florida (UCF). Sunil also works as a Graduate Research Assistant at “General Electric (GE) and Florida Power & Light (FPL) Microgrid Control Laboratory”, which is part of the “Resilient, Intelligent, and Sustainable Energy Systems (RISES)”, University Research Center on Power and Energy Systems. He is a recipient of the ORCGS Doctoral Fellowship and holds a fully funded position for his doctoral studies.
