Khwopa Alumni

I always feel proud to be a part of Khwopa family. Ever since I joined Khwopa College of Engineering in 2009, the dedication of faculties and discipline that the college maintained has profound impact to shape my career as a civil engineer and more than that a good citizen.  The physical infrastructures are alluring and the extra activities from the annual exhibition to international conference and even the sport events refreshed us time and again. In addition to the sound academic environment, such events facilitated us to explore new arena in our field, as well as interact with the experts. My participation in national and international research works had really helped me to head start my career after graduation. The scheduled and uninterrupted class is another positive part of the college. I would always be grateful to the prominent faculties and mentors for creating such a learning environment in the college.

During my graduation period in Earthquake engineering, I even got an opportunity to serve as an engineer in different heritage reconstruction projects of Bhaktapur. Not to mention, the 2015 Earthquake had damaged numbers of heritage sites in Bhaktapur district along with the loss of many lives and livelihood in the country. My involvement in the reconstruction project helped me to understand the importance of our ancient heritage closely. The technical section of the college, dedicated for the development of Bhaktapur Municipality is yet another milestone in my career which has given me the platform to practice my engineering skills. 

The last one decade in the college premises has taught me engineering as well as administrative works and shaped me to be a professional practitioner as a civil engineer. My sincere gratitude to all the faculties, colleagues, administrations, and staffs.
