Khwopa Alumni

Attending Khwopa College of Engineering(KhCE) is one of the greatest experiences of my life and remains influential in my professional and academic career today. As an undergraduate student, the quality education, discipline and outreaching opportunities that KhCE provided adequately prepared me for my current career at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China-one of the world’s top ranking University and also as a young scientist affiliated with various international organizations. Timely and completely taught coursework with special emphasis on laboratory experiments and rigorous fieldworks is beyond usual standards practiced in the country. I met incredible teachers who provided me great research and exposure opportunities at competitive platforms. Equally amazing was the emotional and motivating guidance from them to explore my talent and passion, in parallel to the demanding course of study. I also enjoyed the lovely college atmosphere set up in an antique architectural style and the surrounding places, especially the Durbar Square and Kamalbinayak lake area where we friends used to have frequent social gatherings and enjoy the local delicious cuisine. I am also very thankful to periodic guest lectures offered on-campus from pioneering engineers, scientists and national leaders. There’s also a downside of it that you should be able to perform optimum in your regular coursework and then only your expectations of extra resources and privileges will be warmly welcomed. However, that’s actually good right? Not an issue at all with motivated and hard-working students. I feel at home whenever I visit KhCE every time, it really is an amazing institution. I wholeheartedly recommend KhCE to any high school graduate and career aspirants.
