The Department of Electrical Engineering and the Department of Computer and Electronics Engineering held a joint meeting with the Principal and Administration of Khwopa College of Engineering on Chaitra 19, 2081, in Hall 4 (F&G Block) of the college. This significant gathering aimed to discuss ongoing institutional developments, departmental updates, and future action plans.
During the meeting, faculty members of both the department provided insightful feedback on the ongoing projects and initiatives within the college, emphasizing areas for enhancement and efficiency. Er. Dinesh Gothe, Head, Department of Computer and Electronics Engineering reported on recent academic and research progress, student achievements, and infrastructure improvements, while Er. Rakesh Gwachha, Head, Electrical Engineering Department presented updates on curriculum advancements, ongoing projects, and collaborations with industry and research institutions.
New actions to be taken were major agenda of discussion, including proposals for integrating new technologies and methodologies to enhance the teaching-learning process. Faculty members stressed the need for improved laboratory resources, additional research opportunities for students, and increasing industry collaboration and internship opportunities. Administrative updates on campus development, policy changes, and student services were shared by the Administration Head, Mr. Sanjaya Manandhar, along with discussions on upcoming academic and extracurricular events aimed at enriching student engagement.
Faculty members expressed their views on improving academic policies, workload management, and faculty development programs. Suggestions for enhancing student mentorship programs and fostering a more research-oriented environment were put forward. The meeting concluded on a positive note, with commitments from the Principal Er. Sunil Duwal to implement feasible recommendations. Both departments expressed their dedication to contributing to the growth and excellence of Khwopa College of Engineering.
